Dr. Julanne Burton is an assistant professor of social science and coordinator of the Human Services Program and the Human Services Institute at SUNY Morrisville. She teaches courses in counseling, crisis intervention, leadership, psychology and death & dying. Prior to her work at Morrisville, Dr. Burton was Vice-President of Child and Family Services with Liberty Resource, Inc., where she designed and developed family therapy programs across Central New York State. Dr. Burton received her B.S. in Journalism from The Newhouse School of Public Communications and her M.A. from Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics at Syracuse University and her M.S.W. and PhD from the School of Social Welfare at SUNY Albany.
