Office/Department

My name is Corinne Tagliarina and I’m the Success Coach for the ASAP/ACE program at SUNY Morrisville. I’ve been working in higher education in some form or another since 2005, starting when I was an undergraduate student at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. I studied English, Geology, and Political Science at BGSU and then went to the University of Connecticut to earn my M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science. I gained a deep appreciation for agricultural schools at UConn (Cows! Horses!) and I love to learn about the fascinating things our students and faculty are doing here! I moved to Central New York in 2016 when my partner joined the Political Science department at Utica University, and I love living here and never want to leave.

Helping students find classes they love and learn as much as they can while in college is my passion. I firmly believe that gen ed classes can be interesting and rewarding and I love teaching introductory classes when I get a chance. I want every student to graduate on time with a degree that helps them accomplish their goals, so helping to start the ASAP/ACE program here at Morrisville has been an absolute pleasure!

In my free time, I like to read, play board games, and make and listen to music. I also love to spend time with my family and our many many (8 currently) cats.
