Online Learning & Instruction Librarian

As Morrisville's Online Learning and Instruction Librarian I am responsible for guiding campus online instructional services, OER, accessibility, online tutorials, and coordinating new emerging technologies for use by student and faculty populations. In an instruction capacity I develop information literacy sessions utilizing course management systems, the development and maintenance of online tutorials and subject guides, the development and maintenance of social media initiatives, and scheduled hourly reference shifts along with virtual reference services. I am also embedded in regular upkeep of social media accounts and online marketing strategies, incorporating new technologies into the library and campus setting, active outreach and participation with the campus community, being regularly engaged with campus affairs and committees, and actively representing the library through outside workshops and presentations.
