October
As of Oct. 1, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) applications are available for the upcoming academic year.
If you do not already have an FSA ID, obtain one at the Federal Student Aid website; one for the student and one for the parent of a dependent student.
Check Financial Aid - How to Apply for suggested documents needed to complete the applications
November
SUNY Morrisville recommends you file your FAFSA as soon as possible to be considered for all available aid.
Visit the Scholarships and Awards page for information about scholarships and deadlines.
New York State residents who have filed a FAFSA will receive information with instructions to complete the TAP application. If you have been accepted to SUNY Morrisville and completed all required documentation, you will receive an award notice from SUNY Morrisville directing you to log-in to your web for students to view your award.
December
SUNY Morrisville will send e-mail notification if you have any outstanding requirements/documents that prevent financial aid from processing. These reminders will continue to be sent until all items have been received/satisfied.
March – August
You will be contacted by email with instructions on how to apply for your student and parent federal loans.
July
The bill must be paid in full before the start of the semester. The Office of Student Accounts will notify students by email that their billing statement is available online. If you have not received a notification, you should contact the SUNY Morrisville Office of Student Accounts at studentaccts@morrisville.edu. Payment plan arrangements can be made in your Web for Students or with Student Accounts for balances due. If all documents and application materials are in order, your financial aid should appear on your billing statement. If not, contact the SUNY Morrisville Office of Financial Aid at finaid@morrisville.edu for assistance.
August
Students should have submitted all financial aid documents and requirements by this point. Students begin to arrive on campus.
