Lisa Iannello, of New Berlin, has joined Morrisville State as the grant coordinator.
In her new role, Iannello will be responsible for researching and securing grant opportunities from local, state, federal, and philanthropic agencies and corporations, in addition to monitoring grants and coordinating grant reports.
Iannello has extensive experience in the field having worked as a development officer at the Malignant Hyperthermia Association of the US in Sherburne and the NYS Historical Association and the Farmer's Museum in Cooperstown. She also served as executive director and special events coordinator for the Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival.
“We are thrilled to have Lisa join our team,” said Sara Way, executive director of institutional advancement. “Her extensive experience is sure to garner more support for the college and our students.”
Active in her community, Iannello is a member of the New Berlin Art Forum and the Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival. Her professional affiliations include the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and the Leatherstocking Area Executives Association of the NY Council on Nonprofits.
Iannello earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
