Morrisville State College will be hosting employers from across the state at the 2014 Job and Internship Expo on April 1, from 12-2 p.m., in the John W. Stewart Center for Student Activities (STUAC) gym. More than 40 employers are expected.
During the expo, employers representing a broad range of industries will be available to answer questions about their companies, hiring practices, current and potential part- and full-time positions, internships and volunteer opportunities. The free event is open to students, alumni and the public.
“The strong response from employers reflects the value and versatility of the hands-on experience gained through a Morrisville education,” said Barbara Roback, career planning and development officer. “Last year's employer participants indicated that the expo was a sound investment of their time, rating the majority of the candidates they spoke with as above average to excellent.”
Business casual or formal interviewing attire is recommended. Job and internship seekers should bring multiple copies of their resume.
Information for both employers and job seekers can be found on the “Job & Internship Expo” link on the Career Services Website at www.morrisville.edu/careerplanning. For more information, contact Barbara Roback at 315.684.6615 or e-mail robackba@morrisville.edu.
