Morrisville State hunt seat 6th at Skidmore

The Morrisville State College hunt seat equestrian team compiled 21 team points at the Skidmore College Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Invitational on Saturday, finishing sixth overall in team standings.

Three posted wins in their respective classes for the Mustangs, including Lane Simonin (Tivoli, N.Y.) in the novice equitation over fences class.

Nicole Lefevbre (Clifton Park, N.Y.) and Rachel Rodriguez (Oceanport, N.J.) also collected blue ribbons, topping the competition in the novice equitation on the flat class and advanced walk trot canter class, respectively.

Skidmore was show champion with 47 team points. Siena earned reserve champion honors with 33.

Morrisville State returns to the riding arena on December 1, traveling back to Skidmore.
