Despite four players in double digits for the Mustangs, Morrisville State College women's basketball team dropped their second straight on the road, falling to SUNY Canton by a 57-69 final in Ogdensburg.
Nijah Townsend (Bronx, NY) paced Morrisville State with her first collegiate double-double, netting 11 points while grabbing 10 boards.
Simoine Rogers (Bronx, NY) and Nijee Scott (Bronx, NY) each netted 15 for Morrisville State in the loss, adding a combined seven assists and 12 rebounds. Unique Williams (Manhattan, NY) tallied 13, including hitting 4-of-8 from behind the arc.
Morrisville State trailed 24-32 at the half.
The Mustangs return to the court Tuesday, traveling to Wells College for the conference opener.
