MORRISVILLE, NY—The SUNY Morrisville Theater Department and Student Government Organization (SGO) present William Shakespeare’s romantic comedy, Twelfth Night, or What You Will, in the John W. Stewart Center for Student Activities (STUAC) theater Friday and Saturday, Oct. 26 and 27, at 8 p.m.; Oct. 28 at 2 p.m.; and Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 1-3, at 8 p.m.
MORRISVILLE, NY—SUNY Morrisville topped its Annual Yearling Sale with the highest horse and as the lead consignor.    The highly anticipated sale — the only one of its kind on a college campus in New York State — drew a crowd of potential buyers, sellers, trainers and owners from across the Northeast. All of the trotters and pacers sold are New York eligible. Seven Spankings, a Chapter Seven colt out of Spin The Planet, topped the sale at $50,000, purchased by Wanda Polisseni’s Purple Haze Stables of Fairport, New York.
MORRISVILLE, NY—SUNY Morrisville will bring its innovation, animals and exciting hands-on approach to learning to the Great New York State Fair again this year. The fair runs Aug. 22-Sept. 3.
MORRISVILLE, NY—Three members of the Morrisville State College faculty and staff have been honored with Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence by the State University of New York and SUNY Chancellor Kristina M. Johnson.  Recipients will be recognized during the college’s 107th commencement ceremony, which will be May 5 at 1 p.m. in the Recreation Center.   Receiving the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching is: Devon Branca, of Hamilton 
The first time Christine Barta-Gallagher wrote a paper for a Morrisville State College class, she cried. “It was overwhelming,” she said. “It took me days to write that paper. For me to sit down and type 2,000 words was really difficult.”
