The SUNY Morrisville Library is an innovative learning environment dedicated to empowering all members of the college community to become confident and independent thinkers guided by the effective use of information resources.
Located near residence halls and academic buildings, the Donald G. Butcher Library provides a wide array of information services and resources. The library is open 90 hours a week when classes are in session and offers wireless access, comfortable study areas, computer work stations, a document scanner, and quick print computer stations as well as reference consultations, interlibrary loan, and information literacy instruction. The library’s digital collection includes more than 90 online databases with full text articles from more than 100,000 periodicals and online reference materials, more than 20,000 ebooks and streaming video. Our print and materials collection consists of over 80,000 books, 160+ journals and newspapers, and 2,100+ DVDs and videocassettes. The library’s online catalog, course and subject guides, digital course reserves, and electronic resources can be accessed from anywhere on or off campus, 24 hours a day, seven days a week via the library’s web page.
Library Annual Reports
The Library's annual reports document the full range of Library activities, services, and financial support in a given year and provide a wealth of data that we use to identify trends in campus engagement with Library functions. This information helps Library staff chart the course for advancing library services into the future. Reports prior to the past five years are available upon request by contacting the Director of Libraries at library@morrisville.edu
