This is the house that you build.

Through the SUNY Morrisville Associate in Occupational Studies (A.O.S.) degree program in residential construction, you will begin literally building your future.

We assembled a hands-on program to teach you all the latest in construction techniques, energy systems, sanitation, masonry systems, foundation concepts, plumbing and surveying. You will also learn the business of construction, with courses in business law, communications, accounting and human resources.

The curriculum also allows you time to explore related topics like natural resources, small power equipment, welding, business and engineering.

You will learn, design and build right in our state-of-the-art facilities, such as our 6,000-square-foot residential construction laboratory with framing, plumbing and heating, masonry and electrification labs. You also have access to a variety of finish-carpentry facilities and a computer lab with AutoCAD and LandCADD software.

Your finished product will be a degree that bridges you to careers in the residential building industry, including as an independent contractor, estimator, supervisor, purchasing agent, material sales, or in real estate and development.
