What advice would you give current students?

“I know it sounds cliché, but no matter how hard things may seem at the moment, you should always know that there is someone out there who has it worse than you do and that should be your motivation while trying to achieve your goals. There will be obstacles. There will be hardship, but when those times come around, focus on where you want to be in life and make that your motivation to continue working hard. Also be versatile and be teachable.”

Morrisville State College's bachelor degree in Business Administration provides students with the opportunity to develop the business practices and skills necessary for planning and directing the management and financial activities of business, government and other organizations.

Graduates are prepared to coordinate, support and perform a broad range of duties that promote organizational efficiency. The mission of the program is to give students the opportunity to graduate with the ability to identify new opportunities, solve business problems and improve operational efficiencies.

ACBSP AccreditedCombining both theoretical and applied teaching, the Bachelor of Business Administration in Business program (BBA) is accredited by The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). ACBSP accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes within the business, sustainability, and entrepreneurship courses offered in the School of Agriculture, Sustainability, Business and Entrepreneurship at Morrisville State College meet the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP. Students graduating from an ACBSP accredited program possess problem-solving and effective decision making techniques that are immediately transferable into the work place and/or applicable to pursuing  advanced  graduate studies (MBA).

“Concentrations” of coursework are for those students who desire to specialize in and provide evidence of extended coursework in an area related to a specific employment opportunity.


Following 4 years of study at Morrisville State College, graduating students interested in advanced graduate study at Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY, Oswego State University in Oswego, NY, or SUNY IT in Utica, NY can earn their Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in one year.
