Mission Statement

The Wellness Center's purpose is long-term health and wellness for the communities of Morrisville, Eaton, Cazenovia, and Hamilton. The focus is on preventative health and wellness, including exercise prescription, maintenance, and motivational support in a structured setting. The goal of the Wellness Program is to educate our members about the importance of overall health and fitness.

The Wellness Center is attached to Ice Plex II, located next to the Shelia Johnson Design Center.

Staff

Our staff includes trained professionals and student interns. The Wellness Center is a learning experience for interns as they gain hands-on experience and develop healthy relationships with their clients. All interns are in the last year of the Human Performance & Health Promotion program in the School of Science & Technology.

Why did you join the Wellness Center?
I originally joined the center for rehab when I broke my foot two years ago. Since then, my goal has been to get myself in better shape because I am still active outside of work.

How long have you been a member?
Two years.

What were your goals?
I wanted to get in better physical condition so that every day chores and motions are easier.
