Why did you choose Morrisville?
“I chose Morrisville because my visit to Morrisville during my senior year of high school convinced me that it seemed like the right place for me. My soccer coach managed to get the Morrisville head coach, at the time, to try me out and practice with the team. Not only were the team and the captains so inviting, but walking around campus and seeing such a different environment other than the city life convinced me that a change of scenery was what I needed.”
What "fun fact" can you tell us about Morrisville that is not well known?
“Raymond "Ray" Stantz, Ph.D., the fictional scientist played by Dan Aykroyd in the movie Ghostbusters was from Morrisville, NY.”
What activities have you been involved with on and off campus?
“I am the Sports editor for The CHIMES newspaper. I play intramural volleyball, Soccer and dodgeball.”
What MSC professor has influenced you and why?
“I feel as though every professor in their own way has influenced me and has guided me into become the student that I am today. They each had their own way of reaching out to me and not letting me fail. The best part about them is that they take the time get to know you and are willing to work with you personally. The professor that did it the best for me was Brian McDowell and Timothy Gerken, both helped me become a better writer as well as opening up more as a person and become more active around campus.”
What are your plans after college or your career goals?
“I hope to improve my skills as a journalist and become a beat reporter for my favorite professional team, either the New York Mets or the New York Knicks. I also want to perfect my sports photography and take picture of all sports and athletes around the world.”
