You will learn things at college. Your task is to make sure that you’re learning the right things. Come to college for the right reasons and you will do well.

Major: Automotive Technology (Ford ASSET Option)
Hometown: Cazenovia, NY
Graduating: Spring 2015

Why I came to Morrisville:
I came to Morrisville State College because of its hands on tech degrees. I learn best by doing and Morrisville State College understands that. When I was looking at colleges Morrisville stood out because of its constant application of what is being taught in classes.  I wanted a local college that would offer me a useful skill that I could have forever. The Auto Tech program stood out to me because of the amount of time and money that has been invested to making this program superb.

Favorite thing to do on campus:
Whether I’m getting a nice hot cup of coffee at Jazzy Joes, dismantling an engine, or going for a run with the Cross Country team there are many unforgettable things that I love to do on campus. My favorite out of all of these is going for runs around Morrisville and viewing the beautiful scenery.

Hobbies:
I have a lot of hobbies. I play the guitar, train horses, run, compete in triathlons, hike mountains, and run races. I love being busy and love doing things that involve my hands.

Come to Morrisville if you are an outgoing friendly person that likes to meet new people, because the campus is huge and if you don’t take the time to meet new people than you won’t enjoy your time here on campus. Also if you do come to Morrisville get involved in different clubs and organizations to make your time more memorable.

Major: Criminal Justice
Hometown: Brooklyn, NY
Graduating: Spring 2017

Why I came to Morrisville:
I came to Morrisville to get the “going away” experience. When I came to Morrisville’s Open House in April last year I liked the campus and being in a different environment with people from all over is something I never experienced. So coming here was a good choice because I still got the on campus lifestyle and wasn’t too far from home.

Favorite thing to do on campus:
There isn’t just one thing I like to do on campus, because every week there is always something new to do and it keeps me interested and looking forward to the next week.

Hobbies:
Playing basketball, dance, step, cheerleading, working out, and hanging out with friends.
